Haley, James Andrew b. January 4, 1899 d. August 6, 1981 US Congressman. Served in the United States Army during World War I. Elected to represent Florida's 7th and 8th Districts in the United States House of Representatives, serving from 1953 to 1977. Also served as a Member of the Florida State House of Representatives from 1949 to 1952, and Delegate to the Democratic National Convention from Florida in 1952 and 1960.
