Fretwell III., Joseph John b. September 19, 1915 d. November 5, 1992 Costume Designer. Designed costumes for many movies, theater and television shows. Among his film credits are "The Exorcist" and "The French Connection". And in television "Kojack", "The Defenders" "NYPD" and "The Nurses". His most noted acting role was in Irving Berlin's "This Is The Army". He lived most of his life in New York City and due to illness, he moved back to his home town of Anderson,South Carolina where he died in a local nursing home.
