Adams, Alexander Duncan b. December 25, 1832 d. October 28, 1872 Civil War Union Army Officer. A civil engineer pre-war, he was involved in projects associated with enlarging the Erie Canal. After the Civil War began be helped to raise of company of infantry, which became Company B of the 27th New York Volunteer Infantry regiment.
