Adams, Parmenio b. September 9, 1776 d. February 19, 1832 US Congressman. Born in Hartford, Connecticut, he moved to what is now Attica, New York in 1806. From that year until 1816 he served as an officer in the New York State Militia, and during the War of 1812 he was active on the Niagra frontier as Major and commandant of the New York Volunteers. Hoskins, George Gilbert b. December 24, 1824 d. June 12, 1893 US Congressman. Elected to represent New York's 30th and 31st District in the United States House of Representatives, he served from 1873 to 1877, but was defeated in 1876. He also served as a Member of the New York State Assembly in 1860, and 1865 to 1866, Speaker of the New York State Assembly in 1865, and Lieutenant Governor of New York from 1880 to 1882. Lorish, Andrew J. b. November 18, 1832 d. August 11, 1897 Civil War Congressional Medal of Honor recipient. Served as Commissary Sergeant in the 19th New York Volunteer Cavalry (also known as the 1st New York Dragoons). He was awarded the CMOH for his bravery at the Third Battle of Winchester, Virginia on September 19, 1864.
