  Major League Baseball Player. Real name Howard Dean Reed. He was a pitcher in ten seasons (1958 to 1960, 1964 to 1967, 1969 to 1971) for the Kansas City Athletics, Los Angeles Dodgers, California Angels, Houston Astros and Montreal Expos. He was a member of the 1965 World Champion Dodgers. In a career 229 games, Reed won 26, lost 29 with a lifetime 3.72 ERA. (Bio by: C.S.)
