Pioneer Mother Memorial

Erected in 1928, the monument is to commemorate the pioneer women who traveled in wagon trains to help settle the western frontier. The memorial was dedicated by President Harry S. Truman, whom at the time was Judge of Lafayette County, Missouri. (Bio by:
