Mossadegh, Mohammad b. May 19, 1882 d. March 4, 1967 Iranian nationalist politician. He served as Prime Minister from 1951 to 1953. He led the movement for the nationalization of the Anglo-Iranian Oil Company. Upon taking office, Mossedegh introduced his cabinet, then began taking action to enforce the Oil Nationalization Bill.
