Isabella Clara Eugenia of Austria, Archduchess b. 1566 d. 1623 Austria Royalty. Wife of Archduke Albert. They presided as regents of the Netherlands for the Spanish monarchy. She was the daughter of Phillip II of Spain and Albert of Austria was her cousin. They reigned over a period of prosperity and culture, the high noon of the country under Spanish rule. After Albert's death, she retired to a convent. Their tomb was destroyed during the period of the French Revolution. Margaret of England b. September 11, 1275 d. 1318 English Royalty. Born at Windsor Castle, the daughter of Edward I, King of England and Eleanor de Castilla, the ninth of their seventeen children. She married Jean II de Brabant, Duc de Brabant, in July 1290 at Westminster Abbey. The couple had one son. She died at 43 in Brussels, Belgium and was buried at Collegiate Church of St. Gudule.
