Stuart, Johnny "Stud" b. April 27, 1901 d. May 13, 1970 Major League Baseball Player. As a rookie for the St. Louis Cardinals, the 5-foot-11, 170-pound right-hander pitched complete games in both games of a doubleheader on July 10, 1923 against the Boston Braves, winning 11-1 and 6-3. He had a 9-5 record, a 4.27 earned run average for 149 2/3 innings pitched and seven complete games in 10 starts that season.
