Newton Jr., Thomas b. November 21, 1768 d. August 6, 1847 US Congressman. He was elected to represent three different Virginia Congressional Districts and as At-Large in the United States House of Representatives, serving three separate stretches in office. He was first elected at an At-Large Delegate, then to represent the 20th District, then the 21st, then finally the 1st District, serving from 1801 to 1830.
