Andrews, Nate (Nathan Hardy) b. September 30, 1913 d. April 26, 1991 Major League Baseball Player. He was a right-handed pitcher with the St.Louis Cardinals, Cleveland Indians, Boston Braves, Cincinnati Reds and New York Giants between 1937 and 1946. His greatest success came in 1943 and 1944 as a starting pitcher with the Boston Braves. In 1943 he won 14 games while losing 20 but had a very respectable ERA of 2.57.
