Harrison, Wilbert b. January 5, 1929 d. October 26, 1994 R&B Singer. Born in Charlotte, North Carolina, in 1929, his childhood was filled with country and gospel music. In 1950, just out of the army and living in Miami, Florida, Harrison began performing in a calypso-based style. In 1953 he was signed to the Rockin' Logo by Henry Stone, and released his debut song, "This Woman Of Mine" and "Letter Edged In Black" that same year.
