DeVormer, Albert E. 'Al' b. August 19, 1891 d. August 29, 1966 Major League Baseball Player. He made his debut in the major leagues in 1918 as a catcher for the Chicago White Sox. He later went on to play for the New York Yankees (during the 1921 World Series), Boston Red Sox, and finally the New York Giants. His career ended in 1927.
