Culler, Richard "Dick" b. January 15, 1915 d. June 16, 1964 Major League Baseball Player. The shortstop spent eight years in the big leagues with the Philadelphia Athletics (1936), the Chicago White Sox (1943), the Boston Braves (1944 to 1947), the Chicago Cubs (1948) and the New York Giants (1949). His best year was 1945, when the right-handed hitter batted .262 and scored 87 runs. He hit .255 and scored 70 runs in 1946.
