Carlisle, Casper R. b. 1841 d. April 29, 1908 Civil War Congressional Medal of Honor Recipient. Served in the Civil War as a Private, Company F, Independent Pennsylvania Light Artillery. He was awarded the CMOH for his bravery on the Second Day of the Battle of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania (July 2, 1863). His citation reads "Saved a gun of his battery under heavy musketry fire, most of the horses being killed and the drivers wounded". His Medal was issued on December 21, 1892. Fulton, James Groves b. March 1, 1903 d. October 6, 1971 US Congressman. A native of Dormont, Pennsylvania, he served in the United States Navy during World War II. Elected to represent Pennsylvania's 27th and 31st Districts in the United States House of Representatives, he served from 1945 to 1971. Morgan, William David b. September 17, 1947 d. February 25, 1969 Viet Nam Congressional Medal of Honor Recipient. Served during the Viet Nam War in the United States Marine Corps as a Corporal in Company H, 2nd Battalion, 9th Marines, 3rd Marine Division. He was awarded the CMOH for his bravery at the Vandegrift Combat Base in Quang Tri Province, Republic of Vietnam on February 25, 1969.
