Pinder Jr., John J. b. June 7, 1912 d. June 6, 1944 World War II Congressional Medal of Honor Recipient. He served as a Technician Fifth Grade in the United States Army in the 16th Infantry, 1st Infantry Division. He was awarded the Medal of Honor for action on June 6, 1944, near Colleville-sur-Mer, France. He was killed in action.
