• Burke, Andrew Horace    b. May 15, 1850  d. November 17, 1918
  North Dakota Governor. He served as Governor of North Dakota from 1891 to 1893. He served during the Civil War as a Musician (drummer boy) in Company D, 75th Indiana Volunteer Infantry, being mustered in on July 17, 1862, and being discharged due to disability on January 5, 1863. Only 12 years old at the time of his enlistment, he was the youngest member of his Company.

• Hinkle, James Fielding    b. October 20, 1862  d. March 26, 1951
  New Mexico Governor (1923-1925). A rancher and banker who moved to New Mexico in 1885, he became involved in politics in 1893 and was elected Governor in 1922. He served from 1923 to 1925. After he left office, he returned to his ranching and banking interests. (Bio by: Gary Wayne Parks)

• Morris, Florence Ann  b. March 5, 1876  d. September 3, 1947
  Artist. Best known for Indian portraits. Her works include "The Papoose," and a portrait of Will Rogers, which hangs at the Claremore Oklahoma Library. (Bio by: Laurie)
