Spencer, Robert "Sunny" b. November 20, 1929 d. February 5, 2005 Musician. He was a self-taught musician who played 22 instruments. As a member of the Roy Rogers western music group, “The Sons of the Pioneers” for 22 years he performed nation wide and every summer at the Roy Rogers-Dale Evans Museum and Happy Trails Theater in Branson, Missouri. An all around entertainer with lots of humor, he sang lead vocals, played guitar, saxophone, banjo, trumpet, fiddle, clarinet and jug.
