Finnegan, Chris b. June 5, 1944 d. March 2, 2009 Professional Boxer, Olympic Athlete. Born in Buckinghamshire, England, he represented his country at the 1968 Summer Olympic Games in Mexico City and won a gold medal in the Middleweight Division when he defeated Aleksey Kiselyov of the Soviet Union. After turning professional, Finnegan would capture both the European and British light heavyweight titles.
