Blumberg, Dr. Baruch b. July 28, 1925 d. April 5, 2011 Nobel Prize-Winning Physician. He was honored in 1976 for his discovery of the virus which causes Hepatitis B. The child of an attorney, he attended a local Yeshiva prior to graduating from Far Rocakway High School.
