Skolimowska, Kamila b. November 4, 1982 d. February 18, 2009 Olympic Athletic. She was a Polish hammer thrower who won the gold medal at the 2000 Summer Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia. Woyda, Witold b. May 10, 1939 d. May 5, 2008 Olympic Athlete. A native of Poland, he was a fencer and two-time gold medalist in the individual and team foil competitions during the 1972 Olympic Games. His other notable career achievements include silver medal winner for team foil during the 1964 Olympic Games and bronze medal winner for team foil during the 1968 Olympic events.
