Bourke, Ciaran b. February 18, 1935 d. May 10, 1988 Singer, Musician. He was a founder member of the popular and inluential Irish folk music group The "Dubliners", which formed at the start of the 1960's folk revival. He was a multi-instrumentalist, playing guitar, harmonica and tin whistle. He also took lead vocals on songs such as "Jar of Porter", "Roddy McCorly" and "Peggy Lettermore".
