Dobson, Claude Congreve b. January 1, 1885 d. June 26, 1940 Russian Civil Victoria Cross Recipient. Born in Chatham, England, he served as a Commander in the Royal Navy. On August 18, 1919, at Kronstadt, Russia, Commander Dobson was in command of the Coastal Motor Boat Flotilla which he led through the chain of forts to the entrance to Kronstadt Harbor.
