Rogers, John b. May 9, 1813 d. May 11, 1879 US Congressman. He was born in Caldwell (now Lake George), New York. After completing his education at local schools he moved to Black Brook, Clinton County, in 1832, where he entered the iron manufacturing business in partnership with his brother James, the J & J Rogers Iron Company.
