Curry, Tony b. December 22, 1938 d. October 16, 2006 Major League Baseball Player. Born George Anthony Curry. A native of Nassau, Bahamas, he was an outfielder for three seasons (1960 to 1961, 1966) with the Philadelphia Phillies and Cleveland Indians. His best year was in 1960 when he had a season high 64 hits with a .261 batting average.
