Braganza, Maria Pia b. October 16, 1847 d. July 5, 1911 Queen Maria Pia of Portugal was born Princess Maria Pia of Savoy on October 16th 1847 in Turin, Italy. She was the daughter of King Victor Emmanuel II, King of Italy and Adelaide Habsburg-Lotharingen. She married in 1862 with Luis I, King of Portugal.
