Mallory, Robert b. November 15, 1815 d. August 11, 1885 US Congressman. He graduated from the University of Virginia in 1827 and moved to Kentucky, where he operated a farm. He became an attorney in 1837. In 1858 he was elected to the US House as an Opposition Party candidate and reelected as a Unionist, serving from 1859 to 1865. After running unsuccessfully for reelection in 1864 he returned to Spring Hill, his Kentucky farm.
