Ferreiro, Celso Emilio b. January 6, 1912 d. August 31, 1979 Author. A native of Celanova, Ourense, Galicia, Ferreiro co-founded the 1930s political association "Federación de Mocedades Galeguistas." He later worked as a journalist and lawyer, and in the 1960s began writing poetry with themes of social criticism. In 1966 Ferreiro moved to Venezuela, where he founded the Patronato de Cultura Galega.
