• Burger (Bürger), Gottfried August    b. December 31, 1747  d. June 8, 1794
  Author. He was born in Germany. He is best know for his translation of the book "The Adventures of Baron Munchausen,", that some sources think also he was its author. But he is remembered as poet for his works "Lenore," "Das Lied vom braven Manne," "Die Kuh," "Der Kaiser und der Abt" and "Der wilde Jäger." (Bio by: José L Bernabé Tronchoni)
