Colzani, Anselmo b. March 28, 1918 d. March 19, 2006 Opera Singer. He was born in Budrio (Bologna) and died in Milano. He debuted in 1946 along with Renata Tebaldi and in his long career, he worked with Maria Callas, Zubin Mehta and Karajan. He debuted in the Metropolitan Opera House of New York, in 1960 and remain there during 18 seasons. He is remembered as one of the best baritones of his time.
