Drake, Alfred George b. December 10, 1893 d. November 23, 1915 World War I Victoria Cross Medal Recipient. He served as a Corporal in the 8th Battalion, Rifle Brigade, British Army. At La Brique, France, November 23, 1915, Corporal Drake was part of a patrol near the German lines. Discovered by the enemy, they opened with rifles and a machine gun, wounding an officer.
