Blue, Joe b. September 23, 1934 d. April 22, 1990 "Little Joe" Blue, a native of Vicksburg, Mississippi, moved to Tallulah, Louisiana as a child. It was here that he developed a love of music and learned to play guitar. After serving in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, he settled in Detroit, Michigan where he briefly worked with a band known as the "Midnighters."
