Saint Alberto Hurtado Cruchaga was born Luis Alberto Hurtado Cruchaga in Viņa del Mar, Chile, and popularly known as "Padre Hurtado." He was a Chilean priest of the Roman Catholic Church's Jesuit Order. With his canonization on October 23, 2005, by Pope Benedict XVI, he became Chile's second saint.
