Reid, Oswald Austin b. November 2, 1893 d. October 26, 1920 World War I Victoria Cross Recipient. Born in Johannesburg, South Africa, he served as a Captain in the 1st Battalion, King's Liverpool Regiment, British Army. On the dates of March 8-10, 1917 at Diala River, Mesopotamia, Captain Reid was in command of a small post of troops on the opposite side of the river.
