Doughty-Wylie, Charles Hotham Montagu b. July 23, 1868 d. April 26, 1915 World War I Victoria Cross Recipient. Born in Suffolk, England, he served as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Royal Welch Fuiliers, British Army. On April 26, 1915, at Cape Helles during the Battle of Gallipoli Turkey, Lieutenant Colonel Doughty-Wylie organized and led an attack on both sides of the village of Sedd el Bahr.
