Ringgold, Samuel b. January 15, 1770 d. October 18, 1829 US Congressman. He was a successful agricultural businessman when appointed a member of the Maryland House of Delegates in 1795. He served in the Maryland State Senate from 1801 to 1806 and as judge of the levy court of Washington County, 1806 to 1810 and 1822 to 1826.
