Campbell, Gordon b. January 6, 1886 d. July 3, 1953 World War I Victoria Cross Recipient. Born in Surrey, England, he served as a Commander in the British Royal Navy. On February 17, 1917, Commander Campbell was in command of the HMS Farborough Q.5 in the North Atlantic, when he sighted a torpedo track.
