Judge, Thomas Lee b. October 12, 1934 d. September 8, 2006 Montana Governor. He served as the Governor of Montana, from 1973 to 1981. He was the youngest person ever elected governor of Montana who presided over the state during its modern progressive era of the 1970s. Judge also served as a Member of the Montana State House of Representatives in 1961, 1963, and 1965, Member of the State Senate in 1967, and as Montana's Lieutenant Governor from 1969 to 1973. Toole, Joseph Kemp b. May 12, 1851 d. March 11, 1929 Montana Governor. Served as the Governor of Montana from 1889 to 1893, and 1901 to 1903. Also served as a Member of the Montana Territorial House of Representatives in 1879, Delegate to Montana State Constitutional Convention in 1884 and 1889, and Delegate to the United States Congress from Montana Territory from 1885 to 1889. Walsh, Thomas James b. June 12, 1859 d. March 2, 1933 US Senator. Served as a United States Senator from Montana from 1913 until his death in 1933. Also served as a Candidate for United States Representative from Montana in 1906. He died on a train while on his way to Washington, D.C., to accept an appointment as US Attorney General at the start of President Franklin Roosevelt's administration.
