Powers, Leo J. b. April 5, 1909 d. July 14, 1967 World War II Congressional Medal of Honor Recipient. He served as a Sergeant in the United States Army. He was awarded the Medal of Honor as a Private First Class, Rifleman, in Company L, 133d Infantry, 34th Infantry Division for action on February 3, 1944 at Hill 175, northwest of Cassino, Italy.
