Boudinot, Elias b. May 2, 1740 d. October 24, 1821 Revolutionary War Officer, Congressman, Religious Leader. Served in the Revolutionary war as Commissioner of Prisoners (1776- 1779), then as a Delegate to the Continental Congress from New Jersey. He was President of the Congress from 1782 to 1783, and signed the Peace Treaty with the British Served in the First Three US Congresses, directed the US Mint and was the Founder and President of the American Bible Society. Bradford, William b. September 14, 1755 d. August 23, 1795 Revolutionary War Soldier. US Attorney General. The son of Philadelphia publisher William Bradford, he earned his Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Princeton. In 1776, he entered the Pennsylvania Militia as a private. He later joined the Continental Army in which he became a colonel. He served as Pennsylvania's Attorney General from 1780 to 1791, and sat on the Commonwealth's Supreme Court from 1791 to 1794. Carey, Henry Charles b. December 15, 1793 d. October 13, 1879 Economist. One of the most prominent economists of the 19th century, he is best know for influential his work "The Harmony of Interest", which compared and contrasted free trade capitalist systems and developmental capitalist systems. His earlier work, "Principles of Political Economy", which detailed American economic thought, was a standard on the subject well into the 20th century. He was the son of economist Matthew Carey. Grubb, Edward Burd b. November 13, 1841 d. July 7, 1913 Civil War Union Brevet Brigadier General. Born into a prominent Burlington, New Jersey family that became wealthy from ore mining interests in Pennsylvania, he enlisted in the Union Army at the age of 19 on May 25, 1861, and was mustered in as a 1st Sergeant in Company C of the 3rd New Jersey Volunteer Infantry. Lansing, Henry Seymour b. February 17, 1824 d. April 13, 1882 Civil War Union Brevet Brigadier General.
