• Blackney, William Wallace    b. August 28, 1876  d. March 14, 1963
  US Congressman. Elected to represent Michigan's 6th District in the United States House of Representatives, serving from 1935 to 1937, and 1939 to 1953. He was defeated as a Republican in 1936. Also served as a Member of the Michigan Republican State Central Committee from 1925 to 1930, and Delegate to the National Convention from Michigan in 1932.
