Sturges, Jonathan b. August 23, 1740 d. October 4, 1819 US Congressman. Elected to represent Connecticut as At-Large in the United States House of Representatives, serving from 1789 to 1793. Also served as a member of the Connecticut State Legislature in 1772, as a State Court Judge in 1773, as a Delegate to the Continental Congress from Connecticut in 1774, and as a Justice of the Connecticut State Supreme Court in 1793.
