Ashe, John Baptista b. 1748 d. November 27, 1802 US Congressman. Elected to represent North Carolina as At-Large in the United States House of Representatives, serving from 1789 to 1793. Also served as a Member of the North Carolina State Legislature from 1784 to 1786, Delegate to the Continental Congress from North Carolina in 1787, and Member of the North Carolina State Senate in 1789.
