Khan, Khudadad b. October 26, 1888 d. March 8, 1971 World War I Victoria Cross Medal Recipient. He served as a Sepoy in the 129th Duke of Connaught's Own Baluchi's, Indian Army. During a German attack at Hollebeke, Belgium, October 31, 1914, Sepoy Khan was in the machine-gun section of his battalion. When the officer in charge of the detachment was wounded, Sepoy Khan, although himself wounded, continued working his gun after all the other five men of the detachment had been killed.
