Wilmot, Henry b. February 3, 1831 d. April 7, 1901 Indian Mutiny Victoria Cross Recipient. Born in Derby, England, he served as a Captain in the 2nd Battalion, Prince Cort's Rifle Brigade, British Army. At Lucknow, India, on the March 11, 1858, Captain Wilmot company was engaged with a large number of the enemy near the Iron Bridge.
