Buchanan, Angus b. August 11, 1894 d. March 1, 1944 World War I Victoria Cross Medal Recipient. He served as a Temporary Captain, in the 4th Battalion, South Wales Borderers. During an attack at the Falauyah Lines, Mesopotamia on April 5, 1916, a British officer was lying out in the open severely wounded about 150 yards from cover.
