Potts, Frederick William Owen b. December 18, 1892 d. November 2, 1943 World War I Victoria Cross Medal Recipient. He served as a Private First Class in the 1/1st Berkshire Yeomanny, British Army. During the attack on Hill 70, Gallipoli, Turkey, August 21, 1915, Private Potts although wounded, remained for over 48 hours under the Turkish trenches with another private who was severely wounded.
