Room, Frederick George b. May 31, 1895 d. January 19, 1932 World War I Victoria Cross Medal Recipient. He served as an Lance Corporal in the 2nd Battalion, Royal Irish Regiment. During a German attack at Frezenberg, Belgium, August 16, 1917, when the company which was in the forward line had many casualties, Lance-Corporal Room was in charge of the stretcher-bearers.
