Anderson, Charles Groves Wright b. February 12, 1897 d. November 11, 1988 World War II Victoria Cross Recipient. During World War I he served with South African forces and was awarded the Military Cross. McDougall, Stanley Robert b. July 23, 1890 d. July 7, 1968 World War I Victoria Cross Medal Recipient. He served as a Sergeant, in the 47th Battalion, Queensland Australian Imperial Forces. At Dernancourt, France, March 28, 1918, Sergeant McDougall was on watch at a post for his unit when the Germans attacked.
