Rees, Ivor b. October 18, 1893 d. March 11, 1967 World War I Victoria Cross Medal Recipient. He served as a Company Sergeant Major in the 11th Battalion, South Wales Borderers. At Pilckem, Belgium, July 31, 1917, a German machine gun began inflicting many casualties when it opened fire on Sergeant Rees' platoon.
